Just make a similar function inside your adapter.

public void onActivityResult(int requestCode, int resultCode, Intent data){}

then from onActivityResult of activity, just call this function of adapter and pass all arguments

@berserk hm no. My button(0) in my Recyclerview is an button that opens the users gallary, so the user can choose an image. If and only an Image is choosen which is intent.data !=null, then I want the button(0) to change its alpha(1)

So if an image is choosen. change the alpha of the button(0) in the recyclerview

the image choosen from the galllery is retrived and used in mainactivity, but the adapater and recyclerview intialization happens in a fragment class

@Daniele maybe put the ad control on a canvas and hide that? if u want re arrange the other controls by programmingtically changing the x,y based on current x,y on specific device?
