I just had a convo internally where we were talking about our future on frontend technologies and for the first time I happily said: I dont think our future lies with asp.net as a UI framework. While i'm not ready to go Angular or React anytime soon, but asp.net is about as invested in as VB is today.
its great for webapi sort of stuff but i wouldn't use it for razor capabilities

nowadays people see full page refresh as something unusual
as for Blazor... my experience with it is that it gets weird when JS interacts with it
from what I remember the docs pretty explicitly say "if JS code modifies Blazor-managed DOM nodes, the behaviour is undefined"

the project i'm in write now actually hijacks validator.unobtrusive library to do all sorts of custom stuff and disables the validation to call it on its own with its own load
so if things dont go to original developers plan, there's no front end validation and you have to end up in an odd postback situation where we may have returned an error but you won't be scrolled down to it
