hey guys there are two separate (same) questions on SO. Both with highly upvoted answers. What is a way to link these two? It would be useful to retain both answers though.

@GiorgiMoniava If they are really the same question, you can mark one as a duplicate of the other. You can also try to request merging via a modflag but you do have to make sure that they are really the same question, and answers to one make sense as answers to the other.

@VLAZ If one say A is dupe of another B, will A be deleted? Like I said answers of both questions could be useful (they contain different info). I guess I will leave it as is

@GiorgiMoniava No, duplicates do not delete anything, if there are answers. The only time questions are automatically deleted are by the roomba. However, it requires the closed question to have negative score, no positive or accepted answer, no multiple answers, and almost no comments. Essentially, the question has to be negative scored, no answers (or a single non-positive scored), and maybe a single comment, in order to be roomba'd

@VLAZ I can share links to those questions although they are typescript. Otherwise I will just leave them as they are, I am also not well familiar with TS

there is a comma before console.log('peter') - the conditional expression is p > 6 && console.log('john') which indeed does not print

so in other words..you are saying that console.log('peter) DOES NOT BELONG to the previous expression

and that is why it get's printed

I am trying to use translation like this

I tried a lot and a lot solutions

but nothing works with links
