Google Chrome Releases: Beta Channel Update for Desktop

I have a question. Which may very well be a stupid question. But I have nowhere else to ask it. So I'll ask it here anyway:

Is there a straightforward way to convert JavaScript into JSON?

Yes - JSON is a simple data format which doesn't have functions or any code. Just strings, booleans, numbers, nulls, and collections of those (as objects or arrays).
You could serialise code as strings or as AST as Ben suggests. Then you have to re-create it on the other side. Which is doable, just not something I'd call straightforward.

Due to many hairy edge cases. If you steer away from them, it's not really that much of a hassle but still - you need to know what to stay away from.

Thanks @VLAZ - it's related to a project I've been working on (on and off) for some time. I wrote bi-directional HTML <=> JSON and CSS <=> JSON conversion some time ago. I'm just now finishing bidirectional JS <=> JSON conversion. I'm not unhappy with my work but it occured to me I should check to see if other approaches already exist.
My intention is to have a JSON-based format which can describe components which can be parsed by any language which can read JSON - be that JavaScript, PHP, Python, Deno etc.

can I have a question
I have a input text and a icon calendar. When user clic on "icon calendar", it appears to client the calendar and he can choice the date. The input field is filled up about the date that the user has choided. WHat event is called, I need to capture it but i dont' know waht it is

@Doflamingo19 If the calandar is javascript produced, and upon clicking a date within it the input is populated, normal dom events won't help outside of detecting the click and figuring out the date that way. You'd need an event that the calendar plugin/library etc is throwing.

@BeerusDev - because, unless explicitly stated, each <td> is only a single <td> wide. To change that, add this attribute: colspan="2"

it is however possible to make every cell colspan=2, then make one colspan=3, to make it take up effectively 1.5
but controlling column widths that granularly... seems futile to me

I'm trying to upload a file to S3 from JS clientside and am getting a 403. I presign the url server side, get a File object f clientside, then run:

  headers: {
    'Content-Type': f.type,

}

axios.put(url, f, options)
This throws 403 (forbidden) -- anyone have an idea why?
