Ah well, that I guess is a feature of typescript...

strict: true should always be used so you don't end up with code like that

It's the noImplicitAny I believe but strict: true enables it + other common sense checks.

curious if anyone's noticed Codepen being weird or if its just me... a few little things, like CTRL+A isn't "selecting all" and CTRL+F doesn't open codepen's Find window

I tried Firefox and Chrome so I'm pretty sure it's not me but i never know

reminds me of wanting to watch Netflix with computer and it did not even start the video stream. The console was showing console errors

like that an update got released without even checking it. All browsers I had was experiencing it ... except Chrome.

found the issue: they used a new, experimental js feature that was not even supported

they clearly forgot to add that extra babel transpiler module in their build process

hello everybody , i have a problem with upload images in my react app , at the first they were uploaded and they become shown but then they dissapeard , and i got this error , Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) . i tried with other image and it was ok , they are all with same extension JPG , any help plz .

I'm not quite up to explain in details what's up exactly with those, but I think it's an historical way to ensure some kind of scoping in javascript. I think I've already used that and found that I had to actually define the outside symbols in the first () and pass them in the call in the second ().

tbh I forgot. maybe something like const stuff = (function im_actually_a_constructor(dependency))(outside_dependency_symbol); ?

of course you could also drop all of that, depending on why you're doing it at all
