see the problem with the dev environment is that it's not a production environment

so the things that change from dev to production can cause issues even when everything works in the dev environment

and the only way to test that is with a third staging environment

but i am too lazy to create a staging environment

so i just test on production

HI I am kinda confused with file system api. May be I am not yet expereinced enough to go through the docs all alone.

As I said yesterday, what is the specific use of file system API in my purpose? Are there any special pros in using it for reading the files?

I went through a Youtube video and it was about features in PWA and I think it was also about file system API if I am correct.

@RifkyNiyas I think in your case, youre trying to use indexed DB, but you want to use files, so youre getting information about the file system API

so you might want to lookup more about the IndexedDB

While IndexedDB is a form of in-browser database storage that can be used on a per-website basis

Its similar to Cookies and LocalStorage, but its a database, not a key/value system

@makadev I think so. I think that I managed to render the components in such a way that it recreated a function that took care of the render of a component. I think also that the <Route component=... comes into play in some way, because if I just skipped the route it didn't rerender. I'm not a 100% certain, but managed to solve it with useCallback

My idea is basically replicating SSH authentication on the web. Eliminate the need of passwords completely. Browser conducts authentication with the click of a button or automatically. There's no risk of anything being exposed.

Social engineering will also be basically impossible because there no password

And the user would have no idea how to find their private key.

A nodelist doesn't have the standard "array" functions

But you can easily convert it into an array

and then use the id for selection

Then you can filter or whatever you want

Or just get an entry from the nodelist by index

Now you can just call .values or .entries

I hate questions like that one, so much useless info in the name of micro optimizations that don't matter for the kind of people looking for that question

@RifkyNiyas this is a very specific API. If you have a question you can ask but my guess is no one here knows much about it. Keep reading docs and trying different thngs. MDN has examples.
