One thing I'd edit though is that it's unclear how you get from let rows in componentDidMount() to using rows in render() (You generally need to assign to this.rows or use this.setState({rows: ...}), and keep it up to date in componentWillReceiveProps, and use those in render())

That seems abnormal, most companies that do two drives will do your main OS drive as the SSD and typically be smaller (around 256GB). Then they'll add a 1TB (or more) HDD for all your other shit.

My goal is to launch the app (with npm) open it in a browser in a way that when interacting with the app breakpoints in the actual code are catched. Is that possible?
