Oh for excel: I couldn't load 500mb+ files, and the limit seems to depend on the actual formatting of the csv. But 20mb shouldn't be a problem.

Doing calculations on that data is another story though.... Just use matlab/python/r fo that.

there are usually 2 different things that constitute a js program, in that way: the implementation, and the APIs

both node and javascript (at least in chrome) rely on an engine called v8 by default, for the implementation

but then they implement different APIs

they share some of them, like setTimeout and setInterval, but that's about it
