thats what i got, TBH off road the older ones are better (bigger, heavier fly wheel making low speed and revs much easier to handle)

Nice. Yeah, I think I'm really more interested in the f800 anyway. It's more familiar to my style. Until I ride it I can't say for sure, but I expect it to be more like a dirt bike than any of the other models.

I've seen 5mm bash plates for them. That should hold up pretty well. Whether I get crash bars with it or not I'll add them. Removable handguards are a must I agree.
