I did, someone commented and said it wasn't a duplicate, and it's still closed. I just feel that stack overflow's entire purpose is for these type of questions, and that's what brought me here in the first place. the fact that there is no other question like it and mine remains closed makes me think that it has probably been asked before and closed similarly.

Hot reloading is a webpack feature not a react feature. Note that having it work like it does for react apps though will take some effort.
