I'm implementing a system like SO .. it sets an orange background color to the comment which is mentioned in the URL (also it scrolls the page until that comment). The problem is, something happens after my scrolling for that comment and the page jumps to somewhere else ..

please open this .. it will jump to somewhere else when you open it for the first time, and will be scrolling on the right element when you refresh the page. why?

@Shafizadeh I'm assuming jQuery. .ready() is the equivalent of DOMContentLoaded, which does not wait for images and styles, only DOM.

You want to somehow make it happen after window.onload

Although I'm not sure what you can do about it if it's the browser's default

turns out I can finish the course from abroad and only come back for exams, as attendance is only important if you want to resit an exam, and all lectures/resources are available online

asked various management people, and the general response was that they don't recommend it, and they're not used to it, but I won't be penalized

also, they said I'd pay a lower fee because I wouldn't use most of the infrastructure

so woop woop, more chickens are going to be cooked, more basil is going to be defenestrated

Every array is an object. You are assigning object properties with the data['name'] = 'test' syntax. Arrays are indexed with integers and they "must" be in sequence. try a[0] = 'foo'. or Array.push

my laptop has upgrades but is a used computer from several years ago I upgraded

buying used iphones by 2 years doesn't knock of much in terms of price

the base html that you send is usually never cached
