well, in javascript, the method name to encode an object into JSON is JSON.stringify, not encode; I simply figured you were trying to use a method that didn't exist. However, you're importing a package that has an encode method, so I have no idea.
Have you looked up that package and seen if it even has an encode method?
I want to merge two lists that are comma separated, CENTURY, BADGER & 65, 85 to form an array like: [{name: 'CENTURY', price: '65'}, {name: 'BADGER', price: 85}], the lists are in an json object:

@abr AS3 is not exactly JS - I think it arrived a bit earlier than we have HTML5 (including JSON.*). If you google "as3 json encode" you should find the code you need.
@Frondor Load event - all events - will be put on hold while javascript is running. You can create an element, listen to its onload, and then wait for the event.

Promise.all aggregates by returning a promise for all the results fulfilled, race aggregates by returning the first promise to fulfill/reject and ignoring the rest.
yeah, but I just don't see how can we cancel a promise (or interrupt anything, really) without having magical powers from the engine itself because single thread
I have searched in SO I found so many examples but mine was little different from all.
1) initially i have a row if the user click save & next button it
will say you have 13 fields missing
2) if the user click the addmore button and he did not type any value
in the text field then...
@BenjaminGruenbaum just checking if we are on the same page: cancelling a promise means preventing the promise function from reaching completion mid-way, right?
@AwalGarg mid way - at some point where it yields control - for example if it's a chain - at the next step of the chain. If it's a generator/async function - calling .return on it which runs only finally blocks.
@crl right, don't use a promise for that, use observables or pass a callback to the promise creating function and call it on progress.
@AwalGarg Promise.delay would implement an onCancel (passed as third constructor argument) and when you call it it'd clearTimeout on the underlying timeout and remain pending forever.
@BenjaminGruenbaum eh that's just shifting the problem to onCancel function. I have a synchronous read from localStorage of 2megs of data which takes like 10 seconds on an old mobile. I don't think there is a way to cancel that process once it starts even in the onCancel function.
(lets say 2megs on a single key, so you can't say "interrupt once reading current key finishes") :P
