When you want to select only items that match a certain condition from an array, the method to use is .filter():
var cityCode1 = resellerList.filter(function (x) {
return x.fCityCode === 1;
});
This will produce an array of objects where fCityCode is 1.

You'll probably want to declare it as a variable in the function's scope, using var:
function B(item) {var myVar = item;}
B(12);
But if that's the only contents of B, this isn't going to be much good to you, since myVar will only be accessible within the B function.
