@JanDvorak so, if controller was users, it is getting the db and request it needs, but not its special dependencies (a password hashing class in this case)

So, I would have to go in the controller's constructor and instantiate it, breaking DI.

The user's controller is the only one I can think of that has this problem :(

the rest only have the same 2 dependencies.

The importance here is that no file should be changed at all in order to make something available in the api or removed..

Just imagine, if I remove the users file (which contains only the users class) then it's totally gone.

The factory isn't part of the class itself, right?

but isn't the idea of dependency injection to NOT do that?

Like, the dispatcher should pass whatever dependencies the controller needs to it, but the dispatcher doesn't know about them, nor would it have them if it did.

If Users only knows it needs an AbstractPwdGen and only a DependencyAuthority knows that AbstractPwdGen is PwdGenImpl, then let its constructor get a DependencyAuthority instance, which then returns a PwdGenImpl instance when asked for an AbstractPwdGen instance
