Thanks for the answer. The reason I want to do this is that I have an algorithm which produces a number of states and the state $\left|000\right>$, which is a junk state. However, due to the nature of the algorithm, this state is the most probable. So, I want to de-amplify this state while amplifying the others. — Woody1193 14 mins ago

@glS The reason I don't want to use amplitude amplification is that I want to de-amplify one specific, constant state and I want to avoid the $O\left(\sqrt{N}\right)$ time required to do that completely. — Woody1193 19 mins ago

OK, though naively Rotation Gate appears to help in a single qubit case but in multi qubit system, it may not be very helpful and linearity of quantum mechanics may pose a challenge in designing such a gate, i.e. you may not be able to beat performance of Amplitude Amplification technique, though again I have not come across any proofs in this regard...so All the Best.. — Ashish 22 mins ago

@BhargavRao Tensibai had an excellent idea in the workshop room regarding the MSO comment tracker. Would it be possible to have "New comment posted by {Name} in {Link to post with post title}" in the Boson headline?

@Magisch I'm a bit swamped on time for now to do any dev changes... Sorry bout that. The mod queue hasn't been that friendly, meta has been a bit hot and the burns are getting heavy, so I don't think I can devote some time for making changes to the code for now ... I can certainly make changes once I get some time. Sorry!
