@BhargavRao Continuing the tag wiki discussion in chat like you suggested: I've been looking at more wikis trying to find better examples to crib off of; but I'm only seeing "use this for..." sentences as part of excerpts that describe the item in more depth than I understand the products to feel comfortable trying to write. I could preface the phrase on the sentence I've already written; otherwise I'm not sure how to fix them.

@DanNeely In this case, given that there are two JS related "lasso"s, you can guide users to use this tag in case of one, and the other tag in the case of the other.

And, "Use this tag for programming questions related to Lasso regression only. You can ask statistical questions on Cross Validated instead"

And "Use this tag specifically for programming questions related to the Lasso language. For questions on Lasso Regression, use the [lasso-regression] tag instead"

@weegee Not sure if that was sincere or not but assuming it was, solicitation for upvotes anywhere, including chatrooms, is not allowed. Certainly don't ping specific people (especially moderators) asking for upvotes.

Hmm, I see. Well, better to lead with that reference, but still I personally don't feel comfortable allowing that thing in any of the rooms I am an owner in, at least; it's still direct solicitation for basically reputation even if encouraged to do so by the person you're soliciting.

That in turn has me wondering how @BhargavRao would prefer to be contacted for such offers. @ messaging on a random post he's participated in would be even more off topic
