@Ahmad it's hard to answer that question - the project is interesting and the other Android dev is cool (as is Graeme), but we're shortstaffed on both Project Managers and QA.

So on the one hand we don't have anyone who is definitively owning it and directing us on features, and on the other hand, we can't make a lot of changes/refactors because there's so little testing resources.

what's new with you bb?

Oh man, had my life spun upside down a bit in the past half-year from some social circle drama. Did a tiny little oopsie and got a huge overreaction from the victimized party and basically got cut out of my closest friend group

there were 4 of us, and the other 3 continued on as normal while I basically have been cut (despite the other 2 saying I wasn't). lol, so I basically just have distanced myself from all of them

otherwise started a new job in November which I've been LOVING and the weather is getting nice and I've been diving into hobbies

had some health issues along the way as well

bit of a janky year for me tbh LOL

Hmm... its hard to say to be honest. I'm not actually sure that I even want it at this point

With the 1 guy I did the oopsy (I said something inappropriate to his GF), he ghosted me after lol and we've been BEST friends for ~5-6 years. So that was honestly like... a huge, huge, red flag for me that he couldn't even talk to me about it. Makes me sad and I thought he was way above that kind of behaviour

The other 2.. I'm not sure. I told them a week ago that I need a couple weeks/months break from them.. because they were just totally complacent in the situation and treated me kinda like garbage throughout it (prioritizing the other friend over me, every single time >10 times at least). I called them out on it, and they deflected away from all responsibility on it

It's all kind of revealed to me how immature they are emotionally, and honestly they're all kinda toxic so I'm at this point unsure

that's the quick and dirty of it at least lol
