I'll likely just end up sending another message to my upset friend next week and see what happens, but I'm basically just taking steps to move on myself without them and if they decide they wanna be in my life then I'll go from there
but yah more-or-less ghosting them in the meantime
an alternative (but probably toxic) approach would be to just convince yourself that they're bad people and that you're great and that they don't deserve you
let them feel some sort of consequence of their actions.. I've been maybe a little 'too' agreeable with everything so for them.. it's like we can just keep hurting bb and he'll stick around so why change
Figure I'll give them a week or two to try to be good friends, give them some sort of communication of things.. try one more apology to the silent treatment friend.. then move on
if it doesnt go anywhere I'll try once more to repair and then just move on, because I know I'd regret it if I didn't at least try once more.. but regardless I think I'll be viewing these friendships through a different lens going forward

I crafted my final repair attempt to my 2 friends, not sure when I'll actually send it, wouldnt mind a sanity check on it, trying to avoid anything that would make them get defensive
@JBis probably best since you actually care about this company and getting the role to push it later instead of forcing yourself into a situation where you're not going to be at your best, but obviously your call
I have PTSD from my first professional email where I misspelled the persons name and used Ms instead of Mr cause I misread the name. And now I can't send an email without proof reading 100x.

It's kind of weird though. Is cloudflare really THAT big? I mean that sounds like the interview process of google, amazon, etc that has endless bajillions of dollars to waste.
@twiz terrible news for the company lol, 5 business hours * number of interviewers per round, for an intern that will probably only "take" and not give back significantly to the company
@ballBreaker That's actually a really interesting psychology/marketing strategy. Like if upfront you told a company the first interview is free, but its $100/hr after that.
