@MwBakker Not sure what you're trying to say here, but Stack Overflow has a Code of Conduct. It applies to all users, and all aspects of this site, including chat. I recommend familiarizing yourself with it. Cries of "censorship" will gain little sympathy when what you're claiming we're censoring is harassment or disrespectful language that insults other users.

@CodyGray It's alright, it's your site thus your rules to apply to. I am only saying banning certain jokes is a form of discrimination towards the subject and that while jokes can take the edge of sensitivity of a subject and keep that subject 'lightweight' and better discussable

We do not allow jokes that make people feel uncomfortable. I think that's a pretty sane policy, even under your criterion of promoting discussion.

You can feel free to joke about other things. It's not like we're saying jokes are not OK. For example, I can joke about the fact that iOS is a much better platform than Android. :-)

I get the intention but putting a 'monopoly' on what is allowed to joke about and what not seems an odd rule to me to deal with 'insult' and can in fact work backward for that subject

It's not really about the jokes. It's about language that makes people feel unwelcome and/or insulted. Jokes can tend to do that, but so can other statements.

Can't argue on that: just where to put the line is what I wonder. Ironically the more strict that line becomes, the less people will respect the 'sensitive' subject

To be completely serious, though: I don't make the rules, and I can't change them, but I do agree with these rules and I think they're completely reasonable, so I have no problem with enforcing them.

what did happen for a while is that my face recognition started to map faces while I was taking photos. That was scary cause it never happened before in other abandoned buildings

there were also no patterns on the lens that could have mistaken the face recognition

ofc no actual ghost captured or anything

I think there's a certain balance needed though. You don't have to go all in on BS, but it's also pretty crowded on YT for that kind of content. I would pretty much guarantee that your videos wont be shared very widely. Not because they're bad videos, but because they don't play the BS-game to make them "share-worthy" and don't have click-baity titles.

Not that I'm an expert on these things, but it's pretty obvious that's what works on YT.

Well if you're just viewing it as a hobby, then yeah, that's probably the best approach. No need for wasted effort on marketing.

It's amazing to me how buggy all of Apple's dev stuff is. Apparently their IAP testing sandbox just doesn't work half the time. lol
