Hey guys I need some advice I'm working on a pixel art editor And I was thinking of using a recyclerview as a grid for the pixels Would that be ok? The user can select a canvas size and it will create a grid of Frames according to the size which are white by default and when a user taps on one of the frames (items in the view) it turns black Is this a bad idea or would it work ok in terms of performance? Would it be a viable idea?
I would like for this to display as a 7 x 7 square grid in the centre of the screen, however as you can see with my current code the vertical lines are in the correct positions but the horizontal ones are not. I am sure this is a simple fix and any help would be appreciated -

I meant to go to an affordable sunny country, bring your hardware, rent a place for 1 or 2 months close to the beach or whatever nature you prefer and work from there
ideally in a region known to host "digital nomads" so you get to meet new people if you decide to work on a social setting
I always thought "digital nomads" were hipsters, boy was I wrong, those people know how to live their lives, I realised this summer it's the only way to recover or prevent burnout especially in our field
All I'm saying is you're going to spend hours working on something to save 5 minutes and increase the likelihood of mistakes. If that's what you want, then go for it. 🤷♂️
Although, I do highly recommend Fastlane in general.
@RaymondArteaga Setting it up on a CI/CD server is the real benefit. It saves so much time when you don't need to tie up your dev machine with builds/uploads.
@grrigore only if you use fastlane/screengrab in instrumentation tests
also fastlane is an iOS tool that just happens to have been ported to android by some community people. Use a different tool if you can, fastlane sucks
