basically I have a list of Classes and their methods and I just want the quickest way to turn that into a diagram to slap on this document and be done with it

my IDE apparently has some tool for it but I haven't been able to find it despite lots of googling so I've resigned to just making the picture

The thing you're using is definitely better for this specific case.

I think Jamboard is meant to be used as like a whiteboard, but whatever, you can draw shapes. haha

@ballBreaker we use lucidcharts for all of our diagraming

you can import context specific things like AWS infrastructure, draw lines, organize and label in a drag and drop editor

if it's a POJO style model, just name it

unless attributes matter to the message the diagram conveys

it's all about less is more, documentation is to help people understand not comprehensively list everything in the code, that's what the code is for

that is pretty self explanatory in terms of translation to the models

the majority of my tasks in the client communication context is just dumbing it down so it's digestible

ask yourself if the person reading it, really cares what's in the model and that's your answer

ah yeah that depends on how organized you are. I prefer not to wear the PM hat but I do some PM, it's something that can be done without technical expertise, at least in our realm.

basically just keep track of everyone, monitor their progress and unblock them when they can't move forward

Yeah for sure, don't really need to be able to code to be a PM, definitely more about organization and herding cats

Not sure that I would want to do it 100% of my time, but it's fun to pick up here and there

this isn't really that kind of situation really..it's customer facing but it's entirely internal

this one is for sending texts to our customers who are past due, so it's external in the sense that customers will get our texts, but the results are all internal, really

but yeah as long as I don't send dick pics to all of our customers I can't really imagine too many scenarios where it would go horribly wrong
