I was cleaning my japanese knife in the sink and I recently sharpened it.. long story short it slipped in my left hand and came down like a butchers knife on my index finger

just cleaved a massive gash right into the finger down to the bone haha just wrapped paper towel around it and duct tape

I've kept it lik 99% in a bandage w/ anti biotic ointment

once the deeper parts of the cut heal more I'll expose it to the air to speed up the healing

and just bandage at night :D should be good and fully healed in 3 weeks I'd wager
