@MarkO'Sullivan Now I know why you meant that Flutter is better... I completed 90% of the app I am writing for my bachelor thesis within little more than a week and it just works. With RN I am already struggling with a few simpler things :D Missed a gradle clean here, there is something wrong with a package here, etc.
I also though that there would be a lot less packages but so far everything I needed was provided right out of the box or had an almost perfectly maintained github repo for flutter which I honestly did not expect.
I saw a few videos where people were playing games on Linux and they were running fine, I don't play many games only max 2 games at a time are installed
For example geocoding. I found three repos at first that were all either unmaintained for >2 years or used Google Maps API which required a key which I don't have.
Then for slidable list items I found a great looking flutter package almost immediately on SO, while the only thing I found for RN so far looks a little like rubbish at least in the demo.
