I know it is not typical that people here in the chat may ask about programming tho XD, but I have a little question about android development. I always programmed in C and yet I am learning Java. I am not soo comfortable to OOP but anyways. I have read a ton on google's developer site but isn't there any page which explains the basic syntax of android develoment (The bundles, setLayouts etc)? :)

You should also learn kotlin :D

beside that my tip for learning: Get a small pet project and realize it and while you are doing it you will stumble upon topics to learn about

there is nothing to learn about "bundles" for example. It is a simple class to store data and pass it to somewhere else where it can be received.

It seems Kotlin may be more powerful, but this year we will code in Java in High School. Hm okay, and anotherquestion: It may seem a dumb question but why can't we create more classes in one activity?

If your target is to get into Android development, I would go primarily with kotlin. If you can read Java, it is good enough

Activity is more a mind set / context where Android stuff is happening. You can, of course, create dozen of inner classes in your MainActivity but that is pretty bad from code cleanliness and structure

I am try to use andEngine Library to develop live wallpaper. My problem is this, I am not able to find BaseLiveWallpaperService class in andEngine library package.

I have search alot and not find anything which help me.

Any idea where i can get this?

@TimCastelijns Implicit broadcast receivers are not working after Android N.I want to detect incoming calls so i have used PHONE_STATE Receiver. Its not working.I tried jobScheduler api sometimes its not working fine.

for N onwards i think it's foreground service with notification on top or no reliability.

@MehdiB.ok.Actually i tested it in Android N.I have used implicit broadcast. Its working file when app is in the foreground. and it didn't detect receiver if the app is cleared from the recent list.

If you want to keep something alive since Android O, you have to attach it to a foreground service (visible by the user) @Lavanya
