Different devices use different ones

So you signed in SIG to register your company and you will tell them which format you will use?

If all of SIG members only have 2 bytes as an identifier, where does the remaining byte came from?

CIC is different

Even within OUI, you have longer ones, see the wiki page

You need to first figure out which scheme your devices are following

Some companies have more than one based on department/regions

He then told us he also has a Surface and for privacy reasons still a "Windows Phone" (we laughed hard on that). And he also told us that it is pretty weak from us to not have a "simple web version" (as if it would be a fucking easy thing for a web dev to make our app as a website).

I met a ship engineer working on leisure ships, who told me that literally every ship throw their garbage in the sea/ocean, they just make sure to calculate their move so the garbage doesn't arrive to the coast slightly before/after them boarding (otherwise they pay huge fines and may have their license removed)
