@MarkO'Sullivan No, it's our retirement. The income from it is below the tax threshold.

So as long as we have a tenant we'll have money coming in from the UK. Just that right now our tenant moved out and we don't have a new one, so we're paying the bills there as well as the bills here.

£900/m is a reasonable amount to retire on I think. Especially when you add in English retirement payments and Canadian retirement payments.

Just need to buy a place here and pay it off and I'll be ready to retire.
