Some great news, I've worked on the virtual assistant and have it running so saying "Okay Hound" will activate it, and it is always listening on my desktop. For example, I wanted to start a service from a MainActivity(Navigation Drawer Layout). In order for me to get an instance of that service, I need to bind to it. This MainActivity will respawn another activity and that another activity will be needing an instance of that service so I need to bind to that service again. But the logcat is telling me that I have a service connection leaked after I returned to the MainActivity.
But then again, I don't want to unbind to it from the respawned activity since the service will be destroyed. How do I keep the service running when transitioning from one activity to another and getting a valid instance of the service without leaking a service connection?
