My former boss was enthralled with ReiserFS because it never does an automatic fsck, ever. I agreed with the EXT3 team's arguments that periodic fsck is necessary.. Bugs happen. Hardware happens. As a matter of fact, our reiser file systems used to routinely go belly up (there's your opening) until we forced a manual fsck

I like XFS for databases. Very good stuff. ext3 seems fine for workstations.

I got the solution.. First of all quit your simulator. And then quit and restart Xcode. And then run your project. I hope it will help you...

I usually ran AS and Xcode and iOS Simulator and Genymotion (and sometimes Pixelmator), all at the same time without much worries

the simulator can use a lot of memory, if I'm not wrong
