SO really needs to make an effort to get some updated answers. Half the time the accepted answers are from like 10 years ago and aren't entirely accurate anymore.

chatgpt seems to usually give more up to date information, or at the very least you can ask it to.

I meant something like encouraging active users to review old questions and mark them as outdated or add a new answer, then sort answers partially by date.

No idea if people would actually do it or not though.
