hello i have an issue in my app it happens only if the user leave the application for while in the background than return to it. for example the user open the app and start browsing the pages than he press home button in phone and leave the app in background ( what is happening some of the fragments/activites have some variables with data )

sometimes when the user open the app again from the backstack the app crash because it find those variables with null i have tried to check if the value is null before using it but the app still crash i think because the android system is clear the memory to be used in differant apps,

one of the errors im getting is Retrofit.create is not init even tho its the first thing to init new retrofit when the activity is created, im not even sure what is the title to use to ask such question on stackoverflow and explain the issue

also to clarify that 28%-48% is an increase on the already existent probability of being gay, so in reality its closer to 2% -> 3% -> 5% etc

it's all statistical analysis, but they also found a biological mechanism that they think is responsible for it, essentially the mother's immune system responds with antigens that attack proteins responsible for male-specific brain development that are correlated with sexual orientation

and the immune system is stronger as they have kids?

that doesn't account extremely masculine non-straight people or extremely feminine straight people

yeah each male increases the level of the antigen in the mother

I think that would be more gender-specific than sexual orientation

I think from my understanding, they did this empirical study, found the correlation and then later, a different study, showed that this NLGN4Y Y-protein had more antibodies in mothers of gay males than otherwise, and it increased per male being born.. so they got tied together in a theory

so it's more like, because of these findings they're saying it's responsible for sexual orientation, but they don't really know fully

My guess is it's much more complicated than one thing.
