A side job outside your "profession" is not a red flag. When you do your own app in the mean time it is even more like a dedication to that app. A red flag is for me someone who only lives in his profession. Like programming as profession and when asked for hobbies he says "programming".
You need something off work to balance out (and no Netflix is not a valid hobby imho)
hm... you could say that you appreciate their offer but you decided to go on with a project that is limited but not yet sure for how long and that you would like to come back when this is done to apply again if the position is still open
worst thing is when you say nay and come back like a week later because than everyone know you speculated on getting another job and it fails and they are just a "backup" now

Well, the only thing I would say you are lacking experience of might be in regards to team work and processes
you need to make sure that your app as a project is dominantly shown, best case with store link
also make sure that you used some things like testing, CI, maybe even ticketing on your app project, this way you can honestly say that you worked with the default setup you would also expect in a team
and yes: tickets like a story to describe a feature, than sub tasks that split the work needed to be done in technical tasks like "create database", "implement ui", "create animations" etc
finally figured out that it was not runBlocking causing the test to never complete. Using toList did. Repalcing it first works fine. wated almost a good 3 hrs on this

So I told them that if they want me, they need to be open to adapt to full C#. Net or related software languages

I dk maybe I had too much critique at the developper that was included in the interview, I asked a lot of "why" at their developping processes
They maybe think Im a bit of a jerk, but at least they know what I stand for and that furtheron im enthousastic about their operations
I also told my handicaps since its not only about good things, being perfectionistic was maybe a red flag to them cause I hammered on wanting to use more modern languages at new produced software
I think it also depends on the tone. If you say "why" in a curious way, then I complete agree with Tim. However if you ask it in a critical like "thats stupid, why would you do that" way, it's definitively bad.

As much as I wanna call those people losers, I also do get it. Everyone has their own escapes. Mine is in fiction and for some people their escape is in reality but outside of themselves
