and what's your thoughts on the controversy that UEFA has caused with that station in Munchen?

Haven't really looked much into it - I don't really read sports unless I have to :')

well, it is not really related to sport. The city Munchen wants to light up the station in rainbow colors as a reaction to the recently voted law in Hungary

but UEFA refused that. "too political". Yeah, just because Hungary is to play in that station today and they probably don't want to offend them

(and somewhat hypocritical because they're spending money on multiple campaigns to encourage diversity in sport ...)

if they wouldnt react, they would remain a neutral and unrelated instance
but now that they wanted to put the rainbow colors/lights on, they made a statement against the government of Hungary
EUFA might have a problem with a statement against a certain party (as opposed to in general)
the problem now only gets bigger because if they remove the lights, it would be a statement against the lgbt organizations that would support it
also, they probably dont want to because of fear of it coming over as submissive, controlled or just weak

Doing nothing is remaining neutral, doing that is clearly being against it

the (i assume) *guy who had the rainbow flag probably didn't do it as reaction to the recent events

and even if so, there might be a difference in perspective between personal/team orientation and organization orientation

but I wouldn't draw a straight conclusion of "this is bad" or "this is good"
