@Kerppag this is a bad idea; files produced by a program should not be in the same directory as the program itself

It is not for nothing that you have /usr and /var on Unix systems

Choose a directory and stick to it, and put your log files there

I have multiple files in different folders.
PROJECT>SUBGRAPH>"multiple folders here">"multiple java files in each folder"
>PATTERNS>"multiple folders here">"multiple java files in each folder"

The files are linked such that each java files gives error that other class files are required first.

I heard about ANT, but it requires XML info I think. Project doesn;t contain it. What should I do?? I can give you the link of project

javac can take multiple files as arguments. The long term solution is using a build system (ant, gradle, maven, ...)

@kiheru : I just need to compile this one project. Can you please take a look at the project directory mentioned on the link i gave you. Will ANT work? I have never used it, tried it for 2 hours and couldn't get any clue

Most likely any build system will work. Anyway, if you're in hurry, javac has no problem with circular dependencies - just pass all the needed files as the parameters
