@Joe'sMorgue It's basically just about what's preinstalled - you can install everything you want in either version. Personally I often use the mini.iso where I can choose exactly what to install initially. But if you're new to it it's probably easiest to install the Desktop version and add the server stuff you want after the initial setup.

The cop just made it clear he needs to be in that lane. On American highways, we have a min and a max speed, if you are within those limits, he can't do much, but there are also lane usage instructions.

it's similar here, though the lower limit is not a set number. It's subjective in the way of "Are you obstructing traffic?". You can see quite clear backwards on the swedish highways since we mostly only have 2 lanes in each direction. You see when someone approach you at a much higher speed. Just let your own overtake wait until the one in a bigger hurry is out of the way.

Cars and trucks have a set min. Large commercial trucks have an upper limit, which can be lower than smaller vehicles.

High populated areas, the upper limit is lowered, and it's the same for all vehicles allowed on those roads. In less populated areas, the min speed goes up, large commercial trucks get their own limit.

No truck is allowed to drive faster than 90km/h in Sweden, regardless of road. No vehicle with a trailer is allowed to drive faster than 80km/h. Which is why it's very annoying when someone wants to drive 90km/h and overtakes someone going at 80km/h. Both legal speeds, but those who want to drive the road maximum speed at 110km/h or 120, they are quite in the way.

We don't use metrics. All highways, min is 45MPH, where the upper limit is 55 [populated areas] Lower populated/more lanes, the limit goes up to 70 for cars, 60 for large trucks [over certain weight/passenger capacity] but the min goes up to 50

And we don't use imperial. I thought that was obvious ;)

In 70MPH zones, MOST cars travel around 80, and the large trucks approach 70.
