@CommonMan You need to escape regex metacharacters in a string. So the + should be \\+. Usually in regex, the + indicates "one or more occurence of the preceeding pattern"

@CommonMan You can use the pattern attribute on input fields, making use of the browsers native input validation. It's supported in most browsers.

I have a JAR file in use in my code that is using JAXB and was compiled in Java 8. Our group would like to start running using Java 11. My understanding is that the way in which JAXB was packaged means changes need to be made to use JAXB in versions after 8. Is there any easy way to fix this JAR file? I may or may not have access to its source code.
