class eka nikanma import karanpan. If it's a .jar then set it to project build paths
You need to place that class under your src folder. Then only you can use " import com.siemens.icm.io.* "

@Thilina there should be a jar file. Because that import statement says there are many class files. So you need to download that .jar file and set it to your build paths of your project

If you don't add the jar to the build paths, then you're trying to import something that's not there

guys I have an issue, I have two separate classes, the main one calls methods from the other one. All of the methods called are working except one. How do I solve this?

@fge yes. It was the java 5 compiler accepting some generics code it should not have accepted Didn't exist in 6 anymore, and that was when I noticed it - it didn't make a difference for the working of the code in question
