SimpleDateFormat dateFormatLocal = new SimpleDateFormat("MM/dd/yyyy HH:mm:ss a");
//Date d1 = new Date();
try {
Date d1 = dateFormatLocal.parse("1/1/2001 09:09:10 AM");
} catch (java.text.ParseException e) {
e.printStackTrace();
}

This is my code for parsing a string to date , but what ever I do I always get the output as d1 = Mon Jan 01 00:09:10 GMT+05:30 2001 . The value of hour always goes to 00 .

I have a .xap file build from phonegap build. but I have trouble in testing the application
can you help how to test
