@redwoolf you can't actually tell who's male unless it's explicitly disclosed... I don't think I did disclose my gender, though I have done in a few places in chat before now. Same with ethnicity.

I still don't understand why down vote button displayed on election page, i mean, if I don't want vote for one candidate, I can simply ignore it, and do not press the upvote button.

@LingboTang the voting works like on the main site.

Meaning you can express your disapproval for a candidate by downvoting them.

In the early voting one or more of the candidates may have gotten in the negative at one point.
