I think my exact duplicate request from chat.stackoverflow.com/transcript/message/51689130#51689130 has been unilaterally killed off by anubhava. I totally don't understand this because the regex page that I referred to had one answer from Wiktor rhat contained both answers on the new page. Where did my close vote go?
