So I'm trying to think of how this is secure. For Browser-Based Uploads Using POST to AWS s3 server, you make a "policy" in json format, which include things like what files are allowed, the allowed size of files, filenames allowed, etc.. and of course the current time. Then in a hidden form input field you include that json policy encoded in base64, and in another hidden form input field you include a keyed hash (sha256) of the json encoded policy.

Only I have the key, so they can authenticate that I authorized the upload. And, they will accept that policy for 15 minutes after the date that I put on policy.

Sure they can authenticate I authorized that HTML form to upload but they are not authenticating any actual person uploading, meaning someone can share that HTML form with anyone and anyone could upload as many files as they want
