My issue is when I see stuff like this in PHP:

 * @param Foo $foo The Foo instance to set
 */
public function setFoo(Foo $foo)
{
    $this->foo = $foo;
}

That docblock is entirely pointless and really is just creating noise

One thing is that these docblocks do present a good place to throw in a quick basic example snippet or line of example code to get a point across.

@NikiC Are there actual functional differences between "foo $bar baz" and "foo ".$bar." baz" syntaxes or why are we reading it once as ZEND_AST_BINARY_OP (with ZEND_CONCAT op) and once as ZEND_AST_ENCAPS_LIST?

If I use of a Layout manager for implementing different ways for placing the components or laying-out these components inside a graphics container which contains other graphic components. Is this in Iterator Pattern , Composite, or Strategy?
