@StephenKennedy The best way I've found to get rep is posting high-quality answers. I frequently lose the FGITW by even a couple seconds, but have descriptive enough answers to bring in rep. If it's of enough use, and the tag audience is big enough, most of the rep is idle

I've barely answered anything since 11k IIRC, but there's a couple of posts that've been responsible for a lot of the 11k to 12k earnings
