@BaummitAugen eg, I can't run Natty on my server... nor can I run any other bots. It would be really great if we could run'em all from our SOBotics server, now gut is on SOBotics, natty is on Sam servers, Beli I have no clue and Queen on mine.
If some layer calls to get all posts (question, answers, comments), then the other bots could just pass through this layer (SD, Natty,Queen, Beli etc)... That was the idea but it really never reached an end
The main problem to fully resolve the issue was both that probably it would hit api quota if it loaded comments also and that old posts were not included...
Would that even work? We'd still be making all requests from a single IP, wouldn't we? Fewer, granted, as several bots watch new posts, but does that save enough?
