@Wes yeah.....and Google has a couple institutional problems. i) they've never been forced to have good customer service ii) None of their other products have ever needed to make a profit, as the ads subsidise everything.
Suddenly everyone having access to a chat bot that can provide links is quite the threat to Google being able to make money.
also some stuff that went completely under the radar, chatgpt/bing speak other languages really well. which means my mother is using it too. that's a major achievement in and of itself
sometimes it makes up stuff but overall it has been useful. my main issue at the moment is that i cannot use it on chrome. i am not ready to switch to edge yet
