@Cicada - Seriously, if you are willing to work for a games company, it teaches you a lot (mostly about how not to run projects, etc). But if you have the freedom, well, six months or a year is fuck-all. I did it in my twenties. I wouldn't do it now, but it had its moments, and the intensity has a kind of sick excitement about it.
