You've probably read this in the news already, but let me summarize the situation, since I have nothing better to do.

Dijon mustard is made from brown mustard seeds. These are produced in Canada, Russia and Ukraine.

In Canada the harvest failed due to drought. And because of the war we also can't get any from Ukraine or Russia.

Brown mustard seed used to be produced in Burgundy. Now the French have started production again to make up for the shortage, but the harvest has failed due to the heavy rainfall. There are also beetles that eat the mustard plants.

Dijon mustard is high in sodium though, so you may want to be careful with the amount that you consume.

@StackedCrooked So what if there is a drought in Canada? Russia and Ukraine should be able to pick up the slack. It's not like there's anything more important then growing mustard seeds going on
