@Agent_A Using C++ for mobile app development is not a new idea. Microsoft tried to push that idea for Windows phone app development many years ago.

Can be? They're better in almost all regards for usability.
The fact that they are "mechanical" makes them more prone to wear&tear but it's not like smartphones are designed to last either
I think the use of touch controls in cars of all places is just a straight downgrade
