Mailbox on the rural property has been smashed, neighbour messaged. I need to go there again tomorrow, it was not planned if not for this incident.

Is it me or a lot more people have started to suffer from mental issues because of COVID19 related events? I have always anticipated it, but I didn't know that it would be so severe.

Hello, I am pretty new to boost graph library and was looking for a way to get all the shortest paths rather than 'the' shortest path from the built-in graph algorithms. It doesn't look like there's a way to achieve this with the built-in algorithms. Just wanted to check if anyone has a suggestion on how to go about this or do I need to roll-up my own implementation ? Thanks.

If I were to provide a service where people could send me their PCB and I'd tell them what the PCB does and what the software running on it eventually does, by reverse engineering it. Some sort of specialized service in that area.

@traducerad Wot? Australians are mostly meek, like obedient chickens. The reason why Australia has such a low infection rate is that most people locked themselves up in their own ~~cages~~ homes voluntarily when asked by the authority.

Why would that be illegal? You are just looking at what something does as an outsider.

FIguring out the secret recipe from Coca Cola as an outsider and disclosing your hypothesis should not be illegal.

Telling Coca cola's secret recipe whilst being an employee there is, understandably illegal because it is confidential.

@Mgetz In Europe there are a number of companies that sell devices that are able to sniff CAN communication in cars and interface with a car's CPU. Those companies claim"we don't do anything illegal ourselves, we provide tools to analyze communication. What people afterwards do with the device they bought from us is their business, not ours"

Linux didn't take off because it's open sourced freeware. If you charge $3000, then use 1/3 of that for marketing, 1/3 for improvement, then pocket the other 1/3 ...

Isn't that actually a good argument? The fact that it is freeware proves to your client that there is no hidden software which keeps your data somehow.

BTW maybe all you need to do is use a pair of nokia 3310. Encrypt the data from your call sends, decrypt it on the other phone

@TelKitty openSSL is open source and it is litteraly used everywhere. So I presume it must be safe enough

Smart phones have many functionalities, such as map, camera etc etc. You need to find ways to make those data secure too.

Write firmware, do some encryption. Boom 1 week later you have a secure phone.

Only thing is, you need to be sure that chip on that shield is secure enough.

replace the arduino with an ARM if you want.
ARM is used by world's larges firms and is very reliable.

As for the shield, you can develop your own PCB with that chip on it. Isn't that complicated. So there is no need for it to break down in a day. Right there you have done what 95% of the companies in the world do: easy PCB + arm + +/- OK software
