@Mgetz Some people do actually need PCIe lanes.

@CaptainGiraffe Nah--I audited a couple of programs I'd written, but beyond that I did my best to stay away from it. At least from what I recall right off, I stayed pretty busy through the late '90s, so staying away from it was pretty easy.
