@Borgleader Ah. So you're only using Lex. That uncomplicates. You can still use lexer states. I guess I have some answers showing this on SO. Nevertheless, I definitely don't recall having done the nesting level tweak. Though there are some lexers with semantic actions in my answers (actor_lexer search keyword) and you can use the same principle with boost::phoenix::ref
